Squeezed in some time for a SP after surgery this morning.

Any thoughts (other than I need a shave!)?

I like them. To me they say I would like this guy to operate on me. I can believe in him. If you made me feel that way you did you job well.
    Placement of thirds works well.

I like the second shot best. You look confident yet caring. Plus we get to see your beautiful eyes.

Very, very nice!! You look confident and caring. And the eyes are to die for. Guess you had something to do with your children's gorgeous eyes.

    #2 is my favorite too.

I like them both very much, Mitch. I, too, felt the shots come across as confident and caring. I like the 2nd shot slightly more as it seems you are leaning towards the viewer. You appear more at ease. Great job!

I like #2 best, it really shows off your nice chin, and the eyes of course, but not the little fuzzy hairs on the top of your head. you look sincere.

Yep- Definitely #2... In #1 the arms position seems a bit awkward- like a walmart photographer came in and positioned them. #2 is stellar though. Great eyes and awesome pose. iloveyou.gif

I like them both, very nice photos! If anything, I think your right is a tad too dark in the second shot ....

Very nice lighting, is that all natural window-lit?

Great pose too, very hard to pose naturally when taking your own photo.

I like them as well... Having been in the medical field for 22+ years myself, I can say the second one conveys "trust" and "compassion". However, the 1st shot is a great shot also!

You've got that Distinguished And Compassionate Movie Surgeon thing going on in these shots - very much the "promo for the TV show" look thumb.gif (which is meant as a compliment, btw - I'm sure real life doctors HATE how they're portrayed in drama, but photographically it's always rather glamourous and compelling!!!!)
