A moment of rest - what you need after serving beer the whole Memorial Day weekend.

regards,

Gary

    Peter,

Topanga Canyon is a small community located in the Santa Monica Mountains of Los Angeles County, California. It is a semi-rural area very close in to the City of Los Angeles. It was historically known as a kind of hippie area (I imagine you know of the hippie thing). Anyway for many years Topanga has had a kind of small town fair over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. The fair features; food stands, goods for sale, live music and of course beer. There is also a parade and on most years a 10k run in the mountains.

    regards,

    Gary

    Angelo,

Thanks for posting the links. The one I am adding goes directly to the "Views of Topanga" page. There is a listing marked new - that leads to my gallery of Topanga Days photos. It just got linked.

Gary - I can't believe, after 24 years in LA, I've never heard of, no less been to Topanga Days. Thanks for sharing this; I'll be certain to visit next year. (Where the heck does one park?)

    Angelo,

You park on the boulevard (OK as long as you stay behind the white line). Perhaps we can get some grinners together for a shoot - it's a terrific opportunity.

On the boulevard? Do you mean TC Blvd? My luck I'd have to park all the way up at Ventura Blvd and walk in. rolleyes1.gifeek7.gif
