An afternood at the nursery

It was a sunny day and although it's too early for many flowers it was just nice to get out and walk around and take a few snaps.

    Very nice photography all around. Little beauties. thumb.gif
    Definitely going to keep my eyes on the lookout for a shot like #1.
    Interesting use of DOF in the abstract. Love abstracts.
    Flower in frame 4 is sweet. Really like it and its BOKEH.

    Same lens for all? :D

    thanks for viewing, i used a 105mm 2.8 it has great DOF and BOKEH it has become one of my favorite walk around lens besides the 50mm 1.4 that i have.

    Wonderful series--you give a new look to a nursery with a nice combination of real and abstract views. I enjoyed this a lot!

    thanks Lauren, I'm just waiting for more flowers to start blooming so i can get out and shoot more.

    Really a neat series, very nice shooting with super compositions, great depth of field, crisp details, and colors.

    Panther, R.Jay thanks for the kind words. especially because i was expecting a lot more flowers.

    Skippy. Would you believe I escaped without purchasing any flowers......Here in Louisville I wait until the weekend of the Kentucky Derby to plant flowers just because of days like today with the temperatures falling and we've been experiencing occassional snow flurries.
