Corvette rig shot

I've got a Corvette rig shot that I need C&C on before I deliver the final edits. I modified my automotiverigs.com setup a touch. Made for more stability, but extra Photoshopping, and I'm very slowly improving my cloning skills. I know I wish I had done initial capture differently, lesson learned, but too late to re-take. Overall I'm still very happy, just know it could be better next time.

The rig shots are fun, but do require a lot of setup and post-processing.

Nice Shot but I would like a better angle maybe more to the left so you can see more of the rear of the car.

    Take Care,

Good point. I think I could get the rig more to the rear if I played around enough with the mounting points.

I don't like seeing the red curb in front of the car. That being said, this is an awesome shot.

Bill I love the shot other than the fact of the time of day in which it was shot. Early in the AM or later in the evening and you would have had light coming from the side and there would be no shadows. Right now, the whole side of the car is a in a shadow. You may not have been able to choose when you did the shoot, I don't know. I just suggest in the future, if you do get a say, I would try to shoot late in the day and get light from the side and generally, the light is less harsh and the sky will look better as well. The actual picture itself however is mint thumb.gif

Yeah, it was a spur of the moment deal and the lighting was horrible. But, didn't have a ton of choice. The good thing is I learned some valuable lessons on the rig shot. I tried out a new way of stabilizing the rig, which helped with the strong winds we had. And I'm learning more about cloning and healing an image. For that alone it was worth the harsh light to me. :) Paul was gracious to loan his car on short notice and he's getting two files free once I'm done. Plus I learned a lot for the next paying session I have on tap.
