I've upgraded the TLR Split Channels action set. It does a lot of the grunt work for advnced B&W conversion using the channels from color and grayscale photographs.
Take a color photo and you get up to ten layers and ten alpha channels with the infromation from RGB channels, CMYK channels, the L*a*b Lightness channel, the Grayscale Gray channel, and even a Desaturate layer. You can then selectively blend features from the different channels, using different layer blends, different opacities, etc. for extreme control over B&W conversion.
I also created two brief videos: one describes the features of the action set and the other demonstrates how to take a colorful photograph and make a B&W image worthy of fine art printing.
