Good shots! Great clarity and perfect exposure. #'s 1-3 work nicely!
Did you do something special in post-processing with these shots? I don't know how to describe it, but on my screen the backgrounds seem especially blurred. It gives it an ethereal feeling...

Yeah,
I don't do much to my "work" pics, but since I was playing, I did mess with these in post a bit.
Wow #4 is amazing considering the distance, Once I figured out the crop deal... Great job.. Do you shoot alot of lacrosse??
Your teasing with me right?
I don't know anything about the game other than I wish it would have been around when I was in school. How cool is it that you can run around and hit people with a stick and everybody thinks your doing a good job
Cropability: Yep, I can't wait till Canon comes out with a full-frame "sports" camera.

Ha, ha. You sound like me after my first time shooting lacrosse a couple weeks ago. I was on the sidelines and these two opposing players came by real close to me. One guy was whacking the other with his stick. I'm thinking "where's the ref's whistle?" "Gotta be a penalty!" Nope. I turned to the photographer next to me and said "They can do that?" Yup. I really enjoyed watching and shooting the game and look forward to shooting some more. Gotta bone up on the rules though.

Hey Oldtime,
Good to see ya'
I guess this is as close to a bite as I'm going to get...
NOTE: *** I posted the full-frame images next to the crops above ***
I posted these to show a couple of things.
1) The 5DMkII does a good job with tracking
2) To show how much you can crop with a full-frame, and still have decent detail
Thanks for taking the time to comment
