Went out to the Orange County stomping-ground yesterday to photograph some shorebirds
and bumped into fellow DGRINNER Glenn (raptorcaptor) and had a great time photographing the
local waders doing their thing:
WELL...YOU KNOW...:wink
:lust
SHAKING AFTER THE LOVING
LOOKING PRETTY
JUST A SHOVELIN'
AND REFLECTING
AS USUAL, C&C ARE WELCOME.

I used to run around the Crystal Lake area in my youth.:D
Well hey neighbor! Yeah I live there and know better, but can account for two of those tickets...ouch...that's how the Village of BV survives

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Awesome captures, Russ. Love the low perspective. I'm guessing you were either lying on the shore or actually in the water with them.
Cheers,

kinda started once I hit forty :cry
I was lying on a mat with the tripod flat to the ground.
This kinda puts me at eye level with the subject and helps to blur the foreground and background.
Hard on the back sometimes though, especially if I lie in that position for a long time.
See you in the Landscape forum

Well I have more crappy pictures like these to post, so brace yourself :ivar
Thanks Dan
How do you do it Karin?
BTW, you can save yourself some money by picking up a whole bunch of reading glasses at the 99c store :cool
Thanks for the tip on the glasses, I'm sure I'll be using it soon
ETA: Ok, obviously I changed my avatar...it used to be my daughter(who's 3)!!
