So I just received this lens from my fiance. We're going to Tucson on Sunday and I'm really excited to use it. Is this an ok lens? What are some good tips with it? Does it to ok with the external flash? Does it do better with natural light? How does it all work.

Its a pretty average consumer lens. To get best results you probably want to stop down from wide open. The range that it covers is not exactly the best for using flash (it is too long). Use natural light, and you will probably need it to be pretty bright anyways.
