Shed skin (exuvium) of what I think is a wolf spider. Fraid I find these fascinating if a little macabre.

    These are downright scary--but the detail is incredible, as usual. That 4th one looks like it really wanted to say something to you!!

    They are quite neat about the removal of the skin they are leaving behind.
    Looks like they took the top off with a scalpel.
