At first I thought this guy was a spider. However, the MPE revealed something else.

    These Weevils are so interesting to watch Bob,
    although they are a classed as a pests :D

    They remind me of Hippo's, the feet get me, they seem to be able to walk on almost any type of surface including glass.

    Nice find Bob.... they're strong little buggers too.

    Thanks Brian, I showed it to a friend today and is it possible it could be a Rove Beetle.
    Yes Skip they are really strong and their hooked feet are something can they dig in if they don't want to move.
