1st leg of last months trip. Armed myself with a mixed kit of the D80 a lightweight Nikon 18-55VR , the cheap as chips Tamron 55-200, and the lovely Sigma 10-20mm.

The YuYuan Gardens in Shanghai.

On the Bund. A little dissapointing at the moment. Not only poor weather but most of the Bund at the moment is covered in Scaffolding and the smell of leaking public toilets all over the footpaths.

Gazing at New Shanghai from the Bund at night. A total contrast to the Bund.

We then took the train to Suzhou.. to be continued

    Thanks Chris..

After reading your excellent Vietnam set, I will probably do something simialr.

Just need to get finished going through the 1500+ shots and working out my thoughts about the trip which was quite an eye opener in many ways...
