Definitely my best effort on a GBH...getting a shot with good contrast on these big birds has been a chore for me.

I liked the light on this Robin.

Wish I had been steadier on this Nuthatch. :cry

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Beautiful GBH Ric. thumb.gif

Why don't you come down this way? We would be willing to let you practice on ours :D

February would be nice down this way, its not too hot then. March will have nesting pairs at Viera but bring a 500 for them unless they relocate next year to closer palm trees. You can't get closer to them than the road, gators in the water you know :uhoh

Very well done Ric. The GBH is fantastic and you got a great pose and perch with the sapsucker! Those nuthatches are wicked quick though so don't feel bad.
