Linking videos to blogs

Hey

I was trying to link a video that I am hosting on my smugmug to my wordopress blog.

Any tips?

Click the share button in your gallery, then "get a link"

Well I did that. I clicked on the "web embed" to get this:

(without the space after the last >)

But putting that into a blog entry, the video wasn't embedded as I thought it would.

This is the options that I get for embedding. It works if I want to embed here on Dgrin, just not on my own blog. I tried the option "web"

Hi Ted, just found out wordpress blogs hosted by wordpress don't allow for video embeds like ours, sorry! http://support.wordpress.com/code/

All hope is not lost. You can do it through Vodpod, which I have done occasionally for my own blog.

And we are working on making a shorttag and being accepted. Hopefully soon!
