Saw this guy while doing a little work around the house. I don't do macros very often so I thought I'd give it a go.

Nice shot thumb.gif How did you keep'em from jumping away?

I found a little guy like this in my yard and had a hard time catching him. I held him in my hand to show my son Caleb, (almost 3), and he jumped right out of my hands onto my son rolleyes1.gif it was great.

I ended up putting him in our pond in the back. :D

    peace.

    Good work thumb.gif

If you get another shot at it try getting down to his level, instead of from above, JMO though :D

Most of the time the toads I find around here are pretty tame. They'll let you pick 'em up and sit in your hand. This guy did hop around when I got the lens a little close but he was being fairly agreeable.

Cool - I'll try to think of that next time. I had a very short time with him as it was. I was neglecting some duties assigned to me by me wifey. Didn't want her to take out the whip :whip Hmmm.... on second thought....

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
