Rock Island State Park, TN

Hey all, I'm new to dgrin, so I wanted to try my hand posting some of my pics up here for some C&C. I thought I'd start with a trip that my girlfriend and I took to Rock Island State Park recently. We've gotten a LOT of rain recently so TVA was releasing a lot of water (unfortunately too much water to catch any kayakers out there playing). The high river flows combined with the waterfalls were absolutely beautiful :) enjoy!

    Wow what a massive waterfall! I do associate TN with waterfalls, even though I never saw one when I was there, myself. lol3.gif

    I love the colors and the wispy clouds on #5. Thanks for sharing and I hope to see more from you soon! I bet the foliage here in the fall is fantastic.

    Ric those are some really nice shots, I like how the foliage frames the waterfall in the first one. The river was at a really low level in those! I went there a couple of years ago to watch a kayaking competition and it was really amazing to see how quickly the water can rise when they release there.
