Bumble Bee Problem

This bumble bee arrived in our conservatory. After looking on the computer it would appear to have a problem. I don't know what it is but I am sure you can see what I mean.

    good shots Bob, exposures look pretty good.
    they are mites, have seen loads with them on recently.

    Really Phil, I found this bee today and obviously the mites were too much for him.
    No doubt Brian will give his views. As from what you say this could possibly be a big problem. It is the first time I have seen it.

    Good captures Bob :). It is pretty common for bumble bees to have a few mites, doubt these few mites would do it too much harm. AFAIK worker bumble bees only live around a month but they do somtimes have a rest when out foraging.
