Some Poppies

Went out for a hike today and unexpectedly came across a couple of patches of poppies. Pretty much right at mid day but I managed to come away with some keepers.

    Ah nice poppies, we were planning on going to the Antelope Valley Poppie fields but I hear that the peak is already over and it wasn't that good this year.

    Nice shots Scott. What sort of filter/settings did you use in #2 to keep from burning your retinas? :) That's my fav shot.
