Can I use funds held by Smugmug from ordered prints, to order prints myself?

I'm not sure if this has been addressed before or not, if it has, I apologize.
I wouldn't even know what to search for.

I have some funds being held in my smugmug account from client sales. Instead of sending me a check, is there a way that I can use those funds to order prints/gifts etc?

Sorry Sam, no can do.

I'd have to say no. Seems to me like these two accounts are not connectable. They would have to send them money owed to you, then you would have to place the order. I know it sounds confusing and like a big waste, but mainly for accounting purposes, this is the way it has to be done.

No, I'm sorry Erick. Due to accounting rules and regulations, you can't use the profits to pay for merchandise or prints, or for an account renewal. I realize you're not in the US but it still applies for us. I'm sorry.
