Send An Email Readability

Hi I was wondering if there's a way to change the color of the text in the "Send An Email" feature? Some people have complained that they can't read the text, they say it's way too dark especially if a link is included. The link text is dark blue and people are having a hard time reading it. I sent an email to myself to two different mail services on one service I could read the text but sure enough the link text was very dark and hard to read. On my ATT.Worldnet mail I couldn't read any of the text. I had to use my mouse to select the area to read anything.

Any way to fix this?

I have the same problem. Some people are able to read the text when I send an e-mail, and other cannot read it at all because the text is black. Not sure how to fix this.

Exact same problem here. Some people with Yahoo have been able to view it, and some cannot. My husband's Yahoo account is getting black text, while a cousin's account has lately been able to see the text in white. My Juno account is getting black text, and my mom's Cox account is also seeing black text. Often, the picture is also showing up as a box with an "x" in it, so in effect some people are getting an email with no picture and no text. I have been asked to send an e-mail to the Smugmug help desk, and when I did so, they were able to view it just fine. I am, however, still having a problem with this.

It's a mail client issue - they client sofware has a button or setting, to 'display images' and once pushed, the 'x' is replaced by the photo :D

I was planning on sending out some emails from Smugmug today, has this issue been fixed? I don't want to send out any emails if they aren't readable.

    Thanks

Hi Ron, we're still trying to replicate. We send test mails to Gmail, Outlook Express, Outlook, Outlook Web, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL and more - and none come out black. We have to find out why AT&T worldnet isn't working - I'm very sorry it may take a while. Remember, the recipient very highly likely doesn't have an issue. I can't think of another complaint on this.

Still, we'll keep checking into it and trying to be better than AT&T :D

Email your mother a regular email, with just a link to your gallery. I'm very sorry.

What does your mother use for an email client? What software, what version, what platform and OS? Thanks!
