Well, yes, you guessed it.


A good feed is what these wonderful aphid hoovers like. It was very breezy which made life difficult, but managed a few though I had to use a higher ISO and Noise reduction to bring them up a bit better.










And the one that got away (or the ladybird was full enough already)

I noticed that too, and if you look you can see that the wing case on one side is very pale orange compared to the deep red of the other. I assume that this one has a had a run in with a predator of its own perhaps.

They are taken on the top stem of a Queen Elizabeth rose Brian.
