Not my best day for bird photography
When I got up this morning I glanced into the backyard and saw a flock of Cedar Waxwings out there. I went and grabbed my camera, but by the time I got out there they had departed. I set up my camera hoping that they would return. I waited several hours, and during that time I must have seen in excess of 200 Cedar Waxwings, but did not get a single decent shot. They always seemed to land in bad lighting or too far away. The day was not a total loss for I did manage some captures of other birds.

Nice variety there Ira
Interesting set, Ira.
I know what you mean though, rare opportunities are hard to come by. I think the Waxwings are gone around here and I wanted to get some photos. But so time consuming....California, like Florida has some fine bird places, and it's hard to stay home!
