It was a lazy day so My wife and I decided to go check out the Desconso Gardens. We'd been wanting to go for a while but never found the time. I grabbed a few shots although not the best because the sun was almost directly over head and there were quite a lot of deep shadows within the cover.

Really a beautiful place and recommend it to anyone living or visitin Southern California. Well, hope you enjoy them.

Shortly after we entered the gardens we ran across this small water feature and pond

Our next stop was a large Koi Pond. The fish seemed to be sleeping although one came over and gave a brief look to see what was going on

One of the many sitting areas along the paths in the gardens, which is what I found really nice about this place. There are many trails that allow you to really get inside the gardens. Bring a book and some tea and you could easily waste an entire day here.

The Boddy House garden path. The Boddy house was the home of the orignal owner and founder of the gardens.

Another forest walking trail. Tough one to shoot due to the deep shadows and bright sky.

The Japenese Garden was my favorite. Lots of beautiful trees and walking bridges. A lot of people though and really deep shadows made it tough to get a shot. These were all tone mapped from three or more exposures.

There were many gardens filled with vibrant flowers. Here are a few shots of my favorites.
