So thinking of entering DSS #23 with one of these three images under the theme "saturated".

Which do you like, if any and if you think I can improve it, how? As always, I appreciate everyone's comments and feedback.

Nice shots - I think 2 grabs me the most. The white parts of the flowers are really striking with the contrast of the purple. It's nice as is...but I'm wondering what would happen if you tried a more graphic approach (rather than naturalistic). The flowers are already almost hyper-real; what if you picked just a few (cropped in or isolated)) and cranked up the volume? I'm just curious!

I like two the best out of these. I would try Benjer's suggestion, too.

Interesting... I will give this a go and post the results.

    Thanks brother!

I agree with the comments above.

#1 is nice, but not as unique or interesting as the other two.

#3 looks like you shot #2, saw how cool the flowers were and changed the view.

#2 is visually interesting. The colors "Pop" very well.clap.gif

OK Benjer... did I capture what you were thinking or am I way off? Are these better than the original? Do I need to tweak any of them to make them the winner?

#1 - Here is the original crop but with some curve adjustment and high pass sharpening to add a bit more pop.

#2 - Crop of the original with more pop through saturation and curves adjustments with high pass sharpening

#3 - Same crop as #2 but with some of the saturation toned down

    #4 - A slightly different crop

Personally I'm liking number 2 of the last batch. thumb.gif

EDIT: It really has a lot of pop and just screams saturated at me; it doesn't have a lot of room for question in that regard. Nice fit for the theme.

I would go with #2 from the first set. The color pops out at you the best
