Hello
I realize that this is a vBulletin Bug but figured you guys would want to know about it. I am having trouble with the "New Stuff" button producing reliable results. This most often occurs on my MacBookPro version 10.5.6 Software Build 9G55 running Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032608 Firefox/3.0.8.
I enter Dgrin (dgrin.com) and the cookie recognizes me. I click the New Stuff button and get results. However if it then go to Quick Links > Subscribed threads I see threads that I am subscribed as having new unread posts that are not appearing in the New Stuff results. :scratch
Not a big deal, just a little oddity.

I don't recall what the default configuration is, but it may be that the support forums are excluded from the New Stuff query. I know that I prefer it this way, as I don't want my results to include all the Smugmug customization stuff. So if you are not seeing support threads, it's a feature not a bug.
You can customize the New Stuff query to include/exclude any forums you like. Go to You->Options and scroll to the bottom to the section labeled Forums to Exclude from View. First click [Reset Exclusion] at the top of the list, then select the forums you wish to exclude and save.
Another possible explanation to what you are seeing is that the posts are older than the time window that vB (in its wisdom) considers new. Don't ask me what that window is, as it seems to be rather capricious. In this case, the posts actually do appear, but only in the second section of the results--unread posts that vB no longer considers new.
A final explanation is that there is, indeed, a bug. Let us know the details if what you have seen does not fit into the cases I described. Could be a feature, could be a bug.
