I had setup for the GBH nest when I heard this guy singing.
Through a tangled maze I was able to get focus.

    Hi Ric, I like it with the obscured edges! Sometimes people are too critical of wildlife photos, and usually they have no idea how difficult a shot can be. Reds are hard to shoot, looks perfect.

    Cardinals are some of my favorite birds, I love the soft framing. That is a great shot. clap.gif

    It works well Ric. Gives it almost a portrait quality. The bright red against the soft colors is a very well seen contrast. thumb.gif

    Cardinals play in Superbowls and are the State Bird of Illinois. Much more dignified.mwink.gif
