I have not entered for a while, but here is a try at it. I love this picture of my daughter, and I played around in pp and give it a chalky appearance. But I also incorp. the watering of plants. I am stuck on which way to go for the title. I was thinking maybe: "Soaked in youth" Any suggestions?? Thanks guys :scratch513495070_hWhTP-M.jpg

Personally I think I would prefer the photo without the photoshop filters. Can we take a look? Looks like it could have a lot of potential. thumb.gif

It's a really cute candid of your daughter. Definitely preferable without the filters. The vibrancy between the pinkish reds and yellow greens strengthen the impact of the image. You might want to tone down the two vertical bright spots beneath her arm. More water coming out of the spout and a bit more of her face showing would really make this portrait extraordinary. Any chance for a reshoot?

I thought she was watering a mural at first, then got confused about the painting being in front of the watering can. Then noticed the effect on the rest of her.

I think it would be neat to have the effect on everything but the girl and watering can.

I'm going to be really blunt and say I hate photo filters. :cry Sorry.

I like the idea and subjects a lot but I would also like to see some other shots with the same idea, maybe sharper focus too.
