It's a good idea. I think it is an irony that the cactus are filled with water considering they are usually an arid plant. I was thinking along those lines too if I have time to execute my idea! Also, the photo is saturated with those rich colors! Tough choice considering your other entry is good too!

I love these conditions with the sunlit foreground and dark skies in the background (at least I think that's what this is). Beautifully captured.

Thanks Aaron. I used the 70-200 f/4 for this shot. I entered it in the DSS challenge under a different title: "After The Rains". These saguaro's get plump and juicy/saturated after our rains.

What do you think?

i think the color & weather in the BG would cover the theme just fine...i guess it dont hurt to give more reasons too

I would like to see a little color adjustment personally. Bring our the green of the Saguaro and the red of the Ocotillo a but more.
