A pano of Oakland and San Francisco from Oakland hills. I maxed out the Canon G6 zoom range and still couldn't quite reach.

    Lovely!

Is this a real pano, or a crop from a wide angle? Don't quite understand what you mean by 'maxed out' (I'm German, so sometimes I get stuck in language)

Thanks. It's a stitch of 7 shots, then cropped. What I meant by "maxed out" is that I wished I could zoom in even further to get more details of city buildings.

hmm... Can you try processing it as high contrast B&W? I don't think the false color works that well here.

Wow, a really cool perspective that I've never seen before. I'm liking this a lot. It's too bad about the zoom limitations but I don't think it's of much concern.

One suggestion: I like this better without the tree on the left.

I love this perspective! Hmm so it's pretty far, I guess? The city looks so teeny! I have seeen a few potential great panos of the city from that side of the Bay that I'd like to explore more.

I have to say that I kind of like the false color on this one. It makes it look like there's some autumnal foliage going on, which is deceptive. :D
