I got a flex wire for my sb800 to shoot night stadium racing with God awful lights. The advantage of the wire is that I handhold the flash & point it at the ground instead of the rider.
It was super bright toned them down with PS .
I was trying something different with settings.
Still trying different things.
Yeah it can be bright with wide dynamic range. I tried active D lighting to resolve the glare on one side of the riders at a supermoto event. It threw out a lot of noise & I didn't particularly like the effect.
Not my best pics
I was trying some different settings and trying to keep
the sun behind me .
The week before my shots where way better and even got
2 of them posted on a MX website.
Like i hear from the pros just keep shooting you learn something
every time and i did this week.
This was one of them.
