Magnolia Gardens Workshop. I got bored with the instructions for a photo of a bridge with flowers, took some myself. Ones that interested me. My family likes them, not that that means they are amateurish. I was pleasantly pleased myself. g

I hope I have not shown these to you already. I don't think so, they are not framed or lined.
And I hope I did not just mispell any words, especially not in the title: twice.

Was the iris growing in the water?

I like the first one quite a bit! Such delicate colors, contrasting just right.

Thanks, Dee. I don't know if it was growing in the water, I would suspect that it was growing onto the water on a runner or something. I am not a flower person. I have never really grown them nor photographed them. These just looked pretty, especially through the lens.

Thinking about it, the bokeh in the top one is just perfect, isn't it. Looks like I used green paper or something. Those are straight easy PS workups. I am not serious enough about flowers to do more.

I like them for their delicacy, I guess.

    Thanks for commenting.

Someone might be interested to know that those were taken with the 70-200L lens, one of the first times I used it kind of extensively. I am using it more now.

But this was kind of its virgin usage. I had used it before, with "not good" results, however, I wanted to take photos of the people, more than I wanted to take photos of the place. I belong to the place and can go any time. So I put that lens on. That was how I was able to get the shots with the flowers in the water.

It worked out well that day, and continues to work well, when I need it.

Mrs PF, that is gorgeous. I love the way the background shows up as black.

A beautiful flower, and a great shot of it, too.
