Hi all

please help.

Being a member of several forums I always use feeds to read messages to save time. problem being that when I set up feeds for Dgrin not all of the message appears in my feed reader.

I have tries Opera and Omea readers but both give the title of the thread and thats about it. All other feeds work fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'd say try using the Google Reader. Some feeds are only set up to work on specific reader programs. I've personally not tried this company but try Google and see if that works for you.

It could be that the feed itself is set up to only provide a snippet. If that's the case, it may be possible for the site admin to amend that to provide the full posts in the RSS feed.

Some sites offering feeds deliberately only provide snippets as it encourages actual visits to the page, but this would be mostly relevant to sites which are dependent on advertising, which dgrin appears not to be.

Looks like it is the case that Dgrin only offer snippets via the feeds.

The key thing for me, and most people I think, is time. The facility to just plough down the feeds from a site is really useful, if I want to read the comments that go with the original post, I can always follow the link.
