We shoot at the Jefferson Memorial and around the Tidal Basin. We got there about an hour after i wanted to, so we were actually running around the basin trying to catch what sun light was left.
Very nice photo. Can I suggest something? I think it would look even better if you could straighten out the column & dodge it a bit, so the focus is entirely on the couple .... and they just happen to stand next to a beautiful column. Right now I think the column is stealing the show a bit. Those are just my 2 cents Very nice photo though, I'm sure your couple will love it!
Rather violent dont you think?(I know its old but it always makes me laugh...)
As for the photo, it is a beautiful shot! I love the lighting! Time to practice with some off camera flash...
Imagine you're at the reception, talking to the MoB, and forget yourself and say something along the lines of "I've got to go shoot the bride as she tosses the bouquet." Not a recommended wedding photographer technique!:D
OT - That is a cool shot, but I agree that it needs a bit of dodging and straightening. Love the way you got some ambient in there as well. Very nicely done!

I coudn't help it. Retribution for them always kissing or nose rubbing each other!
I wonder though, if the bride's and groom's face could be lit up a little bit more.
