    I actually liked #2 - the contrast of the action on the field and the boredom of the waiting team (I assume they are the waiting team).

    Tighter is better/ I think the yellow frame detracts from the shots also....

    I agree with Tim. Leave nothing in the shot that distracts from the action.

    These crops, and the absence of the yellow frame, are much better.
