Here are a few from last months National Championships. C&C welcome.

Enjoy.

#1 - Unidentified course fore-runner makes a test jump.

#2 - 14 year old Michael Rossi scored an impressive 13th overall against some stiff competition.

#4 - My favorite shot from this event - Austrailian Danielle Scott gives the camera a big toothy grin while executing a back flip.

#1 is the best in my opinion. The expression is perfect. Kind of "what am I doing hangining upside down with these sticks on my feet?"

it's not the size of the lens that matters... It's how you focus it.

Wow! These are awesome! I really like that last one! The colors and the smile do it for me. What lens were you shooting with?

    Great job!

Thanks Richard. Glad you liked them. These were shot with a D3 and 70/200 VR.

All very good photos. Personally, I like the ones that connect me to the earth. #4 is a great shot but since this not something I normally see, I want to rotate it 180 degrees. That's just me though.

    Thanks John and Mike.

Mike - I agree that having a land frame of reference is helpful for folks not familiar with aerials.
