blood red sunset from Bass Is.

I was composing a shot of the sunset from Bass Island , the light was so dark I knew it could only be a silhouette and just before snapping the shot this great Blue Heron flew out and landed on this rock and added the very thing I needed to make it great .

I suppose you mean the dark bands of clouds, and there are some kind of towers just on the horizon. Thanks Randall

Great composition, I don't think you should clone out the trees. Landscapes have those elements. They are not the porcelain skinned fashion images.

This image would be a great header for a web-site.
