Just got my new Sigma 17-70... not a true Macro, but it's the closest I've ever had!

Took it around the neighborhood yesterday...






Incidentally, if anyone knows what type of flower the first image is, I'd love to know.

Good ones - enjoy the lens.

Suspect #2 is Pieris japonica if on a bushy shrub.
