Well a few birds are finally showing up in Alaska. No egret fest up here so we have to make do with what we can get. At Creamers Field, the local wildlife refuge, there were a couple of dozen geese Sunday morning and by evening there were several hundred. We had Cackling Geese, Canada Geese, Greater White-fronted (aka Specklebellies), Mallards, Pintails, and Wigeons. I'm still working the bugs out of a new settup.

D300, 200-400VR, 1.4x TC, Bushhawk
