Jumping spider

I'm getting a little better at photographing jumping spiders, although it's still quite a challenge. I had to re-capture this little guy/gal 2 or 3 times climbing up the wall. I was told it is a species of Habronattus that lives near human habitation. This makes since I found it on my kitchen ceiling.


And on a more "natural" perch.

Thanks for the compliment Quark. (Wasn't that the name of a character in "StarTrek: Deep Space 9"?)
I think #1 was on the edge of a closed book. I don't think I could've gotten that level with the ceiling. #3 was on the dog-eared corner of a closed book.
