Scanned film shot - implied nudity (I think??)

Hi All,

I was looking through some old film shots and came acroos this. I scanned it and have done some work on it. I'm not sure it 'works' but there is something I like about it.

Two questions:
1. Does the scanned image look O.K? (from a pixel POV)
2. Does the pose work for you?

There's lots to like about this photo (not implied, BTW).

Two answers:

1. AS is, no it doesn't look OK. The image is muddy. I'm thinking you may need to increase the brightness quite a bit (2 stops maybe) and, maybe, the contrast as well.
2. The pose is quite nice. The crop can use a little more work. I would crop just a touch from the top, maybe to just before the first bright hightlight on her ribcage to remove the distracting hand on her abdomen

I think I've gone too far on this attempt, losing some detail in the bra and merging the bra and arm, not to mention the black blob of hair:



Will continue to play around with it.

'Muddy' is exactly what I was thinking:D

Leave it the way it was..So much better! she looks amputated in the second.

And bout the muddy part..Isnt that why people want to shoot with film? atleast i do.

After all its just a mather of taste.
