He grabbed a quick drink, gave me the ole wing salute and off he went.
Can't say as I blame him ::lust

Man, those are pretty shots. bowdown.gif I'd say you passed the test.

May I ask what kind of plants are those? I'm wondering if I can grow them here in Kingman. They'd have to be freeze tolerant though.

    Cheers,

Here's a direct quote from a Gardening Site:
Bottlebrush is a small but spectacular evergreen tree or shrub. Of the family Myrtaceae it is well known as Callistemon or Bottlebrush Tree. It is easy to grow and loves warmth, moisture and sun. Bottlebrush is native to Australia mostly growing in moist soil in open or woodland sites.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Joel, having grown up in Phoenix, I know that the bottlebrush is very common there, so I'm guessing they would do fine in Kingman as well.

What is your address Ben. I'm coming over for a visit. Spring migration is never that great here in my area for hummers. I really only have a 3 month window for hummingbirds in my area of Texas, July through September. Wonderful images. thumb.gif
