Its funney how when you grow up somewhere you can drive past things and not really notice them. Take these headstones in the local cemetary from back in the 1800's when Belfast Maine, like many towns along the coast, was a large shipbuilding town. I have driven past them so many times that I never really noticed them anymore. Then driving past near sunrise after an ambulance call I saw them in their true glory. My resolve was set to be there just before sunrise... unfortunatly working on an ambulance can be less than acomidating. The day I was set to try found me taking an out of town transport at 0500. So these were taken near 0700, the result is pleasing to me but I will get the light I was looking for once the weather clears. C&c are as always welcome. Enjoy and thanks for looking!
