Yep, it was great to see Gubbs & Andy again. And yes, knowing Andy really is a way to spend a whole load of money on equipment. An IR-converted 300D & a 10-22 are on their way. :-)

On Thursday night I met Andy in London & went to shoot the Great Court, which forms part of the British Museum. Here are two pictures from the shoot and one of Andy tucking into some Thai food:

Then Andy & Gubbs had the whacky idea of getting up early on Saturday morning to shoot sunrise at Bodiam Castle. I don't think they realised exactly how early they will have to get up, since the castle was around 100 miles from Reading & sunrise at this time of year is at 4:46am.

So we ended up getting up at around 2am & with the help of Gubbs' speedy driving managed to make it there just in time!!!! Here are two of my pics from the trip plus a pic of both of them tucking into their full English breakfasts afterwards:

It was a totally knackering, but really enjoyable morning & I can't wait to do it again!!!

All the best

    Wonderful photos, all
I love the yellow iris in front of the castle, adds a touch of softness and friendliness to the castle (yeah, I know in the olden days you didn't even want to hint at that to your enemies!)

But all the photos were great! clap.gifclap.gif

Thank you for all your kind words. It was a great morning both photographically & from the point of hanging out with two great guys. It wouldn't have been half as much fun on my own.

    Great story...
    Howz't Luben,

Sounds like the three of you had a ball at all hours of the day & night. Pictures are great, and I love the head-on picture of Bodiam castle (with the boardwalk) and the one of the British Museum center. I'm still processing pics from my trip to Europe, and have a few of Tonsbridge Castle at sunlight. I'll have to see if any of them turned out and post a few.

    Cheers mate,
    Kevin K.
