Always a great time when the sun is lowish, this is another revisit of a shot I took a while back, this time the Sun is to the right and not directly behind the main tree, managed to keep the Sun in the image as well, used two raw files, one for 90% of the picture and the other to get the Sun

    Lovely image, Martin.
A strong composition and good exposure throughout.

There is a lot to like in this image.

The mist in the background gives a great feeling of depth, and the major tree seems to almost hold the subordinate trees in the natural notch created by the lack of branches on that side of the tree.

The crepuscular rays provide a nice focus for our attention and we are drawn to the sun hiding in the almost ominous clouds. The gently undulating hill and resulting slight ridging provide a gentle reminder of shape and give meaning to the right lower portion of the frame.

    An excellent composition. thumb.gif
