More from the birth of our first grandchild 2 weeks ago c & c please

I see other's photographs that I truly admire and wonder where I am on that scale, am I headed in the right direction?? :scratch

well they most likely have total control and knowledge of their camera and I do not. Everyday I see how very little I knew when I began a year ago, good thing I was clueless. Just yesterday ( this is embarrassing ) I realized that the numbers in ISO on our digital cameras are like the type of film we used to buy, duh!!

How do you know when your photo is sharp enough, sometimes I tend to over sharpen.
I processed the photo of the three of them on the couch in almost BW because they were so spic & span clean and shiney that it bugged me.

On a cute note, Jackson had a commercial photoshoot already! My daughter has a friend that owns a diaper company and they needed a small baby. I was envious that someone better than grandma was taking his picture !

Oh and I know my next step is to take the flash off my camera, that is the plan, and more classes.!

I like your processing on the 2nd shot, it has "old time" feel to it. Very nice work!thumb.gif

I like all of them...especially number one. Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful new family! She looks way too lovely to have just had a baby! I like the sepia tones in your processing, and they are nice and crisp. Nice job!
