Went out very early this morning to find a Great Horned Owl that was spotted recently. I did manage to find the nest, but no owls. In fact, I didn't see any wildlife worth capturing so I took the opportunity to shoot some landscapes.

Wowzer on that first one! It looks like you got the sun peeking thru the clouds illuminating its warm glow on the piece of ground. This is great. I bet it would look good in a pano too! Really nice!!!!

That first image is quite nice, Dan, but I really like the exposure and scale in the third image.

that 1st shot is ridiculous, love everything about it....tones, mood, color.
It almost has a dark feel to it !

Great stuff, Daniel. The lighting and composition in #1 is amazing.


BTW, Lack of wildlife in AZ is what drove me to landscapes as well.
