d200 vs d90 camera bodies
I have been shooting a D90 for while now and got me a d200 as back up which arrived yesterday. I just wanted share the a few observations.
1) The LCD on the D90 is much nicer and larger then the D200
2) wrt to buttons...the d200 is the pro-style body while the D90 is more of hybrid. The D90 has many more function buttons then say the D60 and D40 but also has the dial with the "night mode", "baby mode", etc. The d200 does not have such newbie presets..which I like. The d90 does have every functional button that the d200 has EXCEPT one feature..which is actually a fairly important one to me. The d200 lets you change the autofocus to single point and move that point around through top buttons alone. The D90 requires one menu call in palce of the top buttons.
3) the shutter on the d200 seems much louder then d90..

My intent was to use my d90 as my primary and the d200 as my 2nd. A buddy of mine said ..after you use the d200 for while you may find it becomes you primary lol.
Well if it is not in low light..he might have a case.
