Sometimes 300 is enough
:DI had a Hour to Kill I went out with the 1D MK III and a 300/4 lens for a few Shots. I think that when we get the long lens we forget the fun we had with our shorter lens. Of course I picked a Big Bird!!!

Well done.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
It works very well for larger birds and when used with a 1.4TC make a Perfect handheld Lens combo but tends to be a bit short for the Small Birds IMO. I use my 500 on Tripod as much as I can!!!
Great set!
