Ok so I just got a G10
I've got a mac, I've got the different card readers
None of them will read the Canon cards (That's a 4g Lexar SD card)

So far the only way I've been able to get the images from the camera to the mac is using the CamaraWindow software.
With the camer plugged into the computer.

This is crazy slow.

Is there any thing I can do be able to read these cards like a normal drive?
Like every other card reader and card around?

Using the system as it currently set up has me have high blood pressure

Any help would be great.
Thanks

I think that card is "SDHC". SDHC is required for the capacity of the card but it is not backwards compatible with SD card readers.

I suspect that you need a new card reader, capable of reading SDHC. (The SDHC compatibility should be stated on the specifications and is usually also on the packaging if you purchase a "retail" version of the card reader.

15524779-Ti.gif with Ziggy. I had that same thing happen to me. Got a card reader that reads SDHC cards and all is well. Since my D200 uses CF cards and my wife's Coolpix uses SD cards, I got a card reader that handles several types of cards. It a Sandisk 12 in 1 model # SDDR-89 V4. Hope this helps.
