New Orleans & The French Quarter

We've been in New Orleans for a few weeks now and have visited through the French Quarter Fest, mid-week when the streets are almost empty and random days when we had to run down and pick some things up.

I especially love #1. As for the rest, usually I don't think selective coloring (correct term?) looks very nice, but you do it in a way that makes it quite natural looking IMHO. It puts the focus where it belongs (for example on the street painter), but doesn't kill the background by putting it out of focus.
