I originaly posted this in the sports forum but that forum seems to be more about action shots. It may not belong here either, but this is where I usually hang out. Its foil-wrapped runners making their way through the finish area of the Boston Marathon. Processing is somewhat extreme by design.

Probably "other cool shots" would best fit this photo. Why are they in foil?

I love candid street shots so I don't mind them being here. lol3.gif

I always thought the post-running foil looked like something out of a mid-century sci fi movie. But cool shot! Are that tall or did you hold the camera over your head? I like the canted angle, which lends a sense of immediacy to the scene.

    Thanks Schmoo,
    Glad you like the shot.
I was holding the camera above my head and praying for the best. Its definitely a strange scene. These people just ran 26.2 miles ... I was hoping the HDR rendering, angle and perspective would work together to help convey a sense of distance and accomplishment. Perhaps its only apparent to us idiot marathoners.
